SHOWING UP has certainly been something that has been happening this week in Haiti, thank heavens for all the HEART people who are doctors, nurses, military, rescue workers, reporters, politicians, our world leaders and more, who have SHOWN UP to help this country and its people.

As I watched all that was going on I was wishing I could get on a plane and be there to do something, but since I do not fit in any of the categories above I felt the way I could help is to donate money and tell others to donate money, so I did that the night that Larry King was doing the show on CNN to raise the funds and he did get over 8 million dollars.  hat that has shown us all is that one person can start something and others will come in and support the cause.

As many of you that know me, know I wear many hats, and because I can balance many things I get to do many things. One that I recently got involved in is the formation of the Movement Therapy Foundation a 501 c3 non profit organization whose;

 Mission is:

To educate communities about Movement Therapy™ through education, training, demonstrations, workshops and programming in mass-media markets.

 Vision is:

To educate able-bodied and mobility challenged individuals about the essential and transformative elements of Movement Therapy™.

To educate the medical and scientific communities so that Movement Therapy™ is one of the primary agents for health.

To ensure that Movement Therapy™ is a primary component of enhanced positive patient outcomes.

The Movement Therapy™ Foundation is an nonprofit 501 C3 foundation that was founded on August 1, 2009 with a generous grant from the Tichi Wilkerson Kassel Parkinson's Foundation. http://eagleandbadgefoundation.com/tichi_wilkerson_kassel_parkinsons_foundation/

Our website www.movementtherapyfoundation.org was recently launched and was created by Infinity Arts http://www.IAWebServices.com who also designed my blog, and who are experts and great to work with. I constantly recommend them to clients and others because they are so dedicated and deliver what they promise and at the time its promised,and are always there for their clients..

So keep SHOWING UP my friends as to me SHOWING UP is like a treasure map you never know what treasures you will find, and I am excited as to the treasures I have found that I will be working with on the Movement Therapy Foundation.
